Upcoming Restorative Yoga Weekend Workshop on Cape Cod

As many of you may know, I have created a fall workshop that will take place here in Brewster, Massachusetts the weekend of October 21-23rd:

A Restorative Weekend of Yoga and Play to
Support Physical and Emotional Change

Since the "save the date" flier had only so much space in which to highlight the content of the workshop, I am writing today to shine additional light on what you can expect to learn and enjoy over the weekend.

I really designed this workshop to get to many of the techniques and ideas that we so often do not have time to touch upon sufficiently during yoga class or in individual sessions.

The focus of this weekend is to teach and practice new skills that have been proven to support and foster change.  You will learn to identify and intervene with the physical and emotional patterns that hinder your ability to grow, and become versed in Gentle/Active Yoga sequences, Restorative Yoga and Relaxation Response techniques that are designed for you.

In addition to approaching change through the physical practice of yoga, we will also explore how your thought patterns can work for, and against, your forward movement.

So this weekend will afford you the opportunity to
- learn new yoga postures that are right for you
- eat good food
- identify old patterns and how to replace them with better ones
- walk on the beach and catch a beautiful sunset
- ignite creative potential toward our individual goals
- enjoy the company of some wonderful women
- get reacquainted with your innate power to navigate inevitable change

The deadline to receive a reduced condo rate at Ocean Edge is September 15th, so please be sure to contact them at http://www.oceanedge.com and mention my name or Yoga Retreat when making a reservation.  Of course you can also choose to stay elsewhere in Brewster or Orleans if you wish.

Cost for yoga, instruction and meals is $395. for the weekend, or $370. each Bring-a-Friend rate.  I always like the idea of bringing a friend, simply because it offers a built-in support system once the weekend concludes.  (CHC members receive a 10% discount.)

As always, if money is your only obstacle, please contact me.

Please be sure to join this blog for more updates and helpful information.
